As Vice President of Operations at Epic Solutions, David views his role as a key strategic facilitator across the organization’s financial, operational, and clinical areas.

He brings more than 20 years of progressive experience in financial leadership within healthcare organizations, primarily in the managed care environment.

 

Before joining Epic Solutions, David served as Director of Providers at Humana Health Plans of Puerto Rico. His previous experience also includes serving as Assistant Vice President of Finance at MSO of Puerto Rico, an Elevance Health company, where he was primarily responsible for identifying clinical cost-management opportunities through strategic analysis. He also held financial leadership positions at MCS and Triple C.

 

David began his professional career in external auditing, working with local firms and later with KPMG LLP, where he strengthened his expertise in internal controls, regulatory compliance, and audits of multinational and government entities.

 

His professional background and specialization in healthcare financial strategy, provider contracting, and negotiations are invaluable assets to Epic Solutions. David’s ability to navigate complex financial and regulatory environments enables Epic to carry out its mission of providing a program for the early detection of cognitive impairment, ensuring that the company’s strategy translates into tangible outcomes for healthcare professionals and their patients.

 

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a credential that complements his executive profile.
